I have lived as a full time resident in Port Mansfield since 2007. I am a retired registered nurse with many years experience in management. My family had the opportunity to start doing vacation rentals and property management in Port in 2012. I am currently the owner of Vic Rentals, a family operated company managing 45 properties. I joined the Chamber of Commerce board last year as the secretary. I feel that my leadership skills can be useful in role of President as we continue to improve our community one volunteer at a time.
I am the owner of Seaspray Charters I have been in business for 9 years. I have lived in Port Mansfield for 13 Years. I have served on the Port Mansfield Chamber of Commerce Board for the last three years.
Retired, Originally from Oklahoma but have been a residence of Texas since 1982. Worked in lending and title insurance. My husband and I have four children and nine grandchildren, number ten is due in June.
We elected to spend our retirement in Port Mansfield after the hustle and bustle of the DFW area the atmosphere is perfect. We are now enjoying visits from or family and friends.
Fatima Flores has lived in Port Mansfield with her husband, Raul, for the last fourteen years, having moved here from McAllen. She was an elementary school teacher for 15 years in the McAllen School District before accepting a position as Supervisor of the Computer Assisted Learning labs for the Edinburg Consolidated School District . She has three children, and four grandchildren. Fatima enjoys gardening, arts and crafts, and reading.
After working and travelling extensively I moved to Port Mansfield sixteen years ago to put down roots and raise my family near my parents who moved here in 1983. My father was the late John Alvarez who was a professional fishing guide. I would appreciate being re-elected to the board to serve in any capacity that I can in promoting the projects of the PMCOC. I have volunteered my help working for the annual tournaments and serve as director of the ladies Fishing Tournament. I have been a past director on the board for three years.
I have lived in Port Mansfield for five years, having moved from San Antonio. I worked for AT&T for 28 years. I have served on the PMCOC Board as director for 1 year and I really enjoyed working on the PMFT and helping to make it a great success. I enjoy staying busy and look forward to helping the chamber promote the Port as a place to come relax, fish and enjoy the scenery.
I have lived in port Mansfield for six years with my husband Larry having moved here from Pharr. I worked in banking for sixteen years and retired in 2005. We have three children and five grandchildren. I enjoy gardening, arts, and craft, reading, hunting and fishing.

I am a Retired Marketing Executive. I held Senior Marketing positions with Coca-Cola and Pennzoil. After retirement, I served as President of The International Hunter Education Foundation for 10 years and currently work for the Foundation as Executive Director. I have a home in Houston; however, I spend most of my time at my residence in Port Mansfield.
